I found this hidden gem a few months ago and am in love! Not only are the orchids I bought beautiful and so much better than anything you can find at Lowes, grocery stores, etc but the service is incredible. The day I visited the person on staff was very pleasant and shared some good info about possibilities with my plants. Fast forward to now - a few months later, and I reached out because I had some mold growing on the medium of one of my orchids and I reached out via the contact form. Sariyah has gone above and beyond problem solving and happily shared what could be going on and how to remedy it. Even offering for me to bring it back to get more hands on support. I’m going to give it a go myself but wow! If I could give 100 stars out of 10, I would!

This review is for an Rlc Goldenzelle 'Lemon Chiffon', which arrived in perfect shape. I most highly recommend Appalachian Tropicals to any orchid buyer. Aside from one other place in the country to which it is equal in product more expensive. Appalachian Tropicals is the absolute best place to buy orchids online. I have ordered many orchids, each one of them perfect. Also, their orchids do an incredibly well over time. Many online vendors send out orchids that look great, but do not stand the test of time. I never have to worry about that with this orchid seller.

If you love orchids this is the place to go! I randomly happened upon their instagram account on plantstagram and I am so happy I did. My fiance and I drove from Lexington KY just to visit this place and I was not disappointed. The quality of the plants is immaculate and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative I can say I have for this place was the choice paralysis I suffered with so many orchid varieties to choose from! I am so glad they added the ability to do online orders and I have placed one of many to come. I will continue to be a loyal customer because this place is amazing!!

It was our first time here and we had a wonderful experience due to a delightful young girl Sarah. She was very friendly and professional not only answered our many questions and even gave us two hand written instructions on how to take care our newly purchased orchids! We had a great time there and will definitely be back next time!! Thank you Sarah!!!
